Growing up, I had a father. But like many men of his generation, his measure of fatherhood was provision.
He worked hard to make sure our needs were met. Sometimes he succeeded, and other times he didn't. But he was not present in the ways I needed most. I didn't receive the mentorship, wisdom, or masculine example I now know every young man needs.
That absence shaped more than my childhood. It shaped my mission.
I created Axe & Honor because too many men today are walking through life without a roadmap. No guide. No grounded values. No brotherhood. Just noise from a world that tells them masculinity is toxic and manhood is optional.
I believe the opposite. Masculinity is not the problem. It is the solution.

When I became a father, everything changed.
I started writing down the things I wanted my son to know. How to think. How to lead. How to stand tall in a world that wants him soft. It began as a private journal — a roadmap in case I was not around one day.
But that journal turned into something more. It became Axe & Honor.
Today, I'm a husband and father of two. I'm raising my son and daughter with the strength, love, and clarity I never received. We roughhouse. We build. We have the hard conversations. I lead by example — not because I have all the answers, but because I refuse to leave them guessing.
I've built businesses and lost them. I've mentored men, led teams, and walked through both fire and favor. Through all of it, I've learned what it means to lead with responsibility, strength, emotional discipline, and long-term vision.
Manhood has been mocked. Strength has been dismissed. Responsibility has been abandoned. And too many men are left wondering if being masculine is somehow wrong.
